Since I started using Instagram, I feel like my whole life depends on it. I've learned how to edit pictures by my own without the help of the experts, I've learned to be organized, I've learned to be creative and enhance the artsy that I have inside of me, I've also learned that I have this disorder, like OMG I can't believe that I have OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder) personality.
Before I proceed to the five applications where I edit most of my pictures (See gallery above) I give you certain tips to achieve your desire feed goals. By the way, I'm not saying that my feed is goals for all of you but for me it is so yeah!
TIP #1: Avoid uploading a lot of your selfies and OOTD's time after time, it will make your feed look crowded. Try the idea of alternation: Your selfie- flat lays-your selfie-nature-your selfie-object-selfie and so on and so on.
TIP #2: As much as possible stick to one filter, this will make your feed look clean and pleasing to the eye.
TIP #3: Create a pre-instagram post account where you can test and see how your feed will look before you upload it on your official instagram account. I know it will make a lot of effort but trust me, it is all worth it. Below is the screenshot of my accounts:

Here are the top five editing applications I use for my feed, hope it helps!
Number Five: Instagram itself
This is the easiest application you can start with. Instagram has amazing features where you can adjust the brightness, contrast, structure, warmth and saturation of your picture.
If you want to achieve a wash out or faded feed, then this is the right application for you. Instagram have this FADE tool where you can adjust picture until your desire texture.
Number Four: PicsArt
PicsArt is an editing and drawing application that also allows you to post on their PicsArt social network. The functions are very easy and useful if you want your pictures to have effects.
If you have this girly personality and want to have a bright, colorful and rainbow feed, then you can find the answer in this application.
Number Three: VSCO CAM
Check the #vscocam on instagram and you'll see how this application works in every instagramer. This is the top favorite application of those who are feed conscious. Vsco cam provides build in filters where you can adjust the amount you want for your photo and just like PicsArt, it also have a vsco cam social network for you to share pictures.
I believe that this filter is not only for ladies but also for the guys. Artsy dudes are the best anyway! The filter I used for my photos above is HB2 with an exposure of -1, contrast +2, saturation -1 and you're done.
Did I mention that some of vsco cam filters are being paid? I can't remember how much it is but I assure you that it is worth your money. In order for you to achieve a pastel-like feed is to have the filter K3 and add some tint.
Number Two: Snapseed
For me this is the easiest application when you want to adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation, ambiance, shadows and warmth of your picture. The good thing is its free! Best application to enhance and apply digital filters available in the app.
All I did on the pictures below is to adjust the tune and that's it, a clean feed indeed!
Number One: Facetune
Facetune is what I used as of the moment and I'm loving it. It is actually for portrait pictures but it also works well in every type of photo like your flat lays, nature and others. It may be a little bit costly, yes it's not for free but if you want to have HD pictures then grab it now. It is P150.00 or that is $3.2 and don't worry because it is available in both apple and play store.
Been longing for that white feed? Yes! Facetune is the answer. It has a tool where you can make the picture even more whiter (See pictures below).
Hope this tips & application improved your feed even more. Be creative stay artsy.
