San Juan Adventure

Watch the full video below, it's the summary of our vacation in San Juan, La Union.

May 22, 2016, Sunday. It was all planned since then and I am so glad that it really happened. Sadly, not all of us made it since some of our friends have other things to do. But still, quantity is not the base of happiness and enjoyment, the six of us together with David, Kaycee, Lorraine, Aileen and Leny still managed to laugh out loud the whole trip.

My friends and I decided to meet at the bus station at exactly 6:30 in the morning but since we are all Filipinos we aboard around 9:00 am. We came from Baguio City so the approximate travel time is just for couple of 2 hours plus 10-15 minutes ride from town to the resort we check in.

The sad part is, it's already month of May so the city already experiencing gloomy days and low tide. When we arrived there we are kinda frustrated since the wave is feeble. Who would want to surf with a low force of wave anyway?

After checking in (that cost us 1000 php) we left our things in the room and had lunch first before we decided to change clothes and feel the breeze of San Juan.

It's not my first time to go to San Juan, La union but I feel like it's always new for me. Love the sandy beach, the fresh air, the heat of the sun and the .

If you watch the video above, you can see that my friends and I tried kayaking for the first time. It only cost for 400 php and one boat can handle 3 person. Around 4:30 PM we finally see waves! It's now time for our purpose which is to learn surfing. Yes! It's another first for me so for our safety we hire a surfing instructor (I forgot his name, but he's so funny and accommodating, will surely find him when we get back there), renting a surfing board is 200 php and if you want help from an expert instructor that is additional 100 php per person but since kuya surfing instructor is so generous we only paid 100 php for the six of us but we decided to give him additional 100 php because we know how hard it is to teach my squad.

We finished surfing around 6:30 so we had no chance of taking HD pictures and the only camera we have in hand that time is the Go Pro. Thanks to Kuya Surfing instructor for taking our picture below.

VLOG here, ENJOY!
